Puppet concert (3+)

A poetic exploration of life in the meadow and next to the meadow puddles – from morning to evening – with live music and puppets.
The puppet concert was contrived by the creators of the stage hit A screech owl on a stick (Svetlana Makarovič). In the performance we can listen to poems from Anja Štefan’s well-known collections such as Rosa (Dew), Izlet (Trip), Čmrlj (Bumblebee) and others, as well as a few unpublished poems that were set to music for the first time. A troupe of brass players introduces the children to life in the meadow: a rich variety of flowers and insects and small animals that live in the holes, between the grass and the reeds and by the meadow puddles. Through a game of riddles, children get to know the nature that flickers and chirps from morning to evening. The plants open shyly in the morning dew, spread their blossoms abundantly during the day and invite swarms of insects to snack, accompanied by hard-working mice, brave snails and lazy frogs.
