The international caravan of Youth Engaged Theatre EYE-Net 2.0

EYE-Net 2.0 (European Youth Engagement Network) is an international project of youth engaged theatre, which promotes the activity and involvement of young citizens in raising awareness and information about the EU, politics and events around us.

The events in the format of theatre performances (co-)created by young people address topics such as: Euroscepticism, solidarity, women’s rights, anti-fascism, the migrant crisis, ecology and fake news. The performances take place in front of a young audience who participate in a discussion after each performance.

The project, coordinated by the foundation Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture and funded by the Europe for Citizens program, involves youth theatre groups from Serbia, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Greece, Lithuania, Italy and Slovenia. In Slovenia, the activities that take place in Maribor and Ptuj are organized by MKC Maribor, CID Ptuj and Moment.
