Always the Same Story

The performance is the result of a research-oriented object theatre project. It was created in Slovenia and the Czech Republic, in two countries with different but varied puppetry traditions.

In the project, which is set as a personal confession of a man, animation, acting, movement and subtle atmosphere are intertwined. Through an understanding of the phenomenon of tango, the play opens up everyday but often taboo issues of interpersonal relationships, and above all focuses on the individual’s understanding of his own existence in relation to the opposite sex.
