(mostly) mono trip comedy … ok, bad trip comedy

A cold February night. A huge apartment block with 6,000 flats on the outskirts of a giant city in a very big country. Lost couriers, dealers hiding packages and their clients, night taxi drivers who have given up hope of finding their way out of the maze of courtyards. Icy high-rises, wind blowing away the last bits of common sense, sharp snowflakes pricking the skin, the grinding of elevators that never stop.

Down the only road—dug up because of a burst pipe—the heroine makes her way to pick up a purchase from the local “Bolha”: a large suitcase, just in case. Just in case—though it seems almost impossible—that by morning, after this frozen February night, war begins.

A strange journey through the psychedelic world of endless stairwells and unnumbered flights turns into a failed attempt to escape some painful questions: Could the morning after this freezing February night have been different? At what point did we fuck it all up? Can the whole world you know and love go insane in just one night? Or is something wrong with you?
